Each year, the School will hold a recruitment period for students seeking to enter the ninth grade class. During the recruitment period, the School will provide information sessions, conduct presentations in the community, and hold tours for interested students and families. Following the recruitment period, the School will hold a public lottery in a fair and blind manner using an independent observer. The School will offer a first admissions preference for a sibling of a student currently enrolled in the School and a second admissions preference to children who reside in Community School District Nine. Students not selected through the lottery will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they are drawn and then, following the lottery, based on the date the School receives the application.
We are still accepting applications for our waiting list, so please fill out an application if you are interested in attending The Charter High School for Law and Social Justice.
