Yesterday was a truly remarkable day for our school community! 🎉 Thanks to the generous support of the JRM Foundation @thejrmfoundation founded by one of our distinguished former scholars, Richard Peña, and his partners. We were able to serve over 500 families, ensuring they are ready to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with gratitude and joy.

What took place was more than a food distribution, it was a powerful moment of unity and community spirit. Volunteers, families, and neighbors came together, turning our block into a vibrant space of support, kindness, and togetherness.

A heartfelt thank you to the JRM Foundation for helping us uplift our community in such an impactful way. 🙌🧡

¡Ayer fue un día verdaderamente extraordinario para nuestra comunidad escolar! 🎉 Gracias al generoso apoyo de la Fundación JRM fundada por uno de nuestros distinguidos exalumnos, Richard Peña, y sus socios. Tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis through Ms. Abreu. Don’t wait, these will go fast!

🎉 Today marks the final day of our amazing 3-week Summer Bridge Program, and what a journey it’s been! Our incoming 9th graders teamed up with students from NY Law School to dive deep into law and social justice, building skills, confidence, and community along the way. 🧠⚖️

They wrapped it all up with an inspiring mock trial, putting their knowledge into action and showing just how powerful student voices can be. 👏🏾🗣️

We’re beyond proud of their growth, passion, and teamwork… The future is in good hands. 💥🖤
